We can arrange for the servies of professional drivers and guides if desired. Guests can also be met at the railway stations of Chalon-sur-Saône or Le Creusot or the airports in Geneva or Lyon. Transport links have been improved, with regular fast TGV connections from Paris to Le Creusot  and improved frequency to Chalon-sur-Saône. Trains now connect every hour to Lyon in the South and Dijon in the North, and the bus line between Louhans and Chalon-sur-Saône, stopping in front of the Château gates, has also been enhanced.

Saint Germain-du-Plain is 15 km from Chalon-sur-Saône and is ideally located. Close to the main A6 freeway (l'autoroute du soleil), 15 minutes from the railway station with frequent connections to Paris; 35 minutes from the TGV station at Le Creusot, as well as good road and rail connections to Dijon and Lyon, this little town combines the calm of the lush green countryside with a convenient geographical location.
From Switzerland and Germany the best access is the new A39 autoroute, via Louhans.
